Pay Scale: Rs.5,200/- to Rs.20,200/- plus Grade Pay Rs.1,900/-

Eligible Criteria for Chittaranjan Locomotive Works Recruitment 2014

Educational Qualification: Candidates should be possess Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board. (50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories 50% marks are not required for SC/ST candidates and for candidates having higher qualification).

Professional Qualification: I) For Music (Instrumental) – Guitar/Mandolin:- Possession of Degree/ Diploma / Certificate in Guitar / Mandolin from Government recognized Institute. II) For Music (Instrumental) – Harmonium/Synthesizer:- Possession of Degree/ Diploma / Certificate in Harmonium / Synthesizer from Government recognized Institute.

Scouting/Guiding Qualifications: a) Candidate should be a President’s Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder OR A Pre-HWB trained Scout Leader/Advanced Trained Guide Leader/Captain. AND b) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organisation for at least 3 (Three) years in the recent past and should continue to be active. AND c) Should have attended one event at National level and one or two events at State level OR should have a good record of participation; in Scouts / Guides activities at Unit / District level.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 years to 30 years as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules. Upper age limit is 33 years for OBC candidates and 35 years for SC/ST candidates.

Application Fee : General & OBC candidates are required to pay Rs.100/- as application fee through Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of FA & CAO, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on Written Test, upon performance in sports Trial OR Cultural Trial and Interview / Certificate Verification to be conducted and Finalized by a nominated selection committee.
